Understanding Self-Worth

Self-worth is your core belief about your value as a person. It’s the quiet inner sense of being "enough" regardless of what you do, achieve, or how others treat you. When your self-worth is low, you might constantly seek approval, fear failure, tolerate mistreatment, or feel like you don’t deserve good things.

Unlike confidence, which can fluctuate with life’s ups and downs, self-worth is deeper and when it’s damaged, it can affect every area of your life.

How Counselling Can Help with Self-Worth

Counselling offers a safe, supportive space to explore what shaped your sense of self-worth, from childhood messages to relationships, trauma, or cultural pressures. Together, we work to unpick those old beliefs, reconnect with your authentic self, and rebuild your inner foundation from the ground up.

This isn’t about becoming perfect, it’s about knowing you are enough as you are.
